I never was fond of MLP humanizations, and I never was excited by the prospect of seeing a “canon” humanization from Hasbro. Well, I think it would be fine if Equestria Girls characters looked like ordinary anime schoolgirls. However, they don’t look like ordinary anime schoolgirls. They don’t even look like humans or anthros. They look like freaking aliens. (On the other hoof, I should admit that these Equestria girls are still much closer to real girls than G4 ponies are to the real ponies! So I think there’s nothing to complain about.)
